USTransit for Android

USTransit is an Android app developed by HKUST and a group of HKUST alumni that provides real-time traffic information for the green minibuses serving the HKUST campus. The app offers a range of features to help users master real-time traffic information and make transport decisions more effectively.

The app covers the minibus routes no. 11, 11M, 11S, and 12, providing users with an estimated waiting time and real-time location of the green minibuses. The app also features an interactive minibus route with real-time route maps that show the schedule of the next three minibuses of each station. Additionally, the app offers an arrival reminder and get-off reminder function to help users avoid waiting at the minibus stop and know when to get off the minibus. The app is inclusive and supports screen reading for the visually impaired, helping them reconnect with the public transport network. Furthermore, the app provides access to other means of transport commuting HKUST, such as the operating hours of the school shuttle bus, the MTR, KMB, and NWFB's webpages. With USTransit, the HKUST community can have better forecasting and preparation for each trip.
