An SAT navigation app

TomTom is a mobile app that provides you with maps, voice navigation, live traffic information, and real-time updates on your mobile without requiring any sort of Internet connection.
International coverage
The GPS app by TomTom International lets you access the best available routes based on real-time traffic information provided by the community of millions of drivers. It covers maps worldwide, which you can access in English and many other languages.
Feature-packed
The primary function of this app is to provide you with offline maps that you can use without staying connected to the Internet while travelling. Moreover, it gives you useful traffic information about delays and faster routes, safety cameras, and points of interest.
You don't need to input the address you need as long as you have it in your contacts. With just one tap, the app plans your route. The same goes for spots on downloaded maps. You can also use the Quick Search function to find your desired destination.
Clear UI
While it doesn't feature the most modern look amongst map apps, TomTom is straightforward to navigate. It gives you clearly-labelled options and easy-to-follow paths without any popup ads.
Updates for accuracy
All maps available get updated weekly to ensure correct information for your journey. As long as you keep your GPS on, it will keep feeding your smartphone accurate data on the route.
Pricing
This app is free to download and use for both Android and iOS users. However, it only gives you navigation for a fixed number of miles monthly in that plan. Alternatively, you can upgrade to the Unlimited Navigation plan to drive free of restrictions.
Reliable
While there are sometimes map errors, TomTom is mostly accurate and reliable. It drains the battery less than Waze or Here WeGo, features clear instructions, and doesn't limit the duration of maps downloaded like Google Maps. Overall, it's a good companion, especially when travelling abroad.
