The story behind the scenes is told quite well through the in-game journal. The premise for the game is quite simple: every morning, a young girl goes to her grandmother's house for breakfast. Unfortunately, upon her return, she finds that her grandmother has been brutally murdered. This, apparently, does not faze the young girl, as she sets out to find out who committed the crime, and why. As the investigation progresses, you will find that the true reason for her grandmother's death becomes apparent, and that she had somehow been framed through the use of a mysterious and powerful hidden object device known as the Golden Eye.
To conclude, this is a hidden object game in which you investigate crime scenes, solve puzzles and investigate crime scenes. Unlike some games, in which you must solve puzzles and move on, in this game you must investigate crime scenes, examine evidence and interact with the characters in the game in order to uncover the truth. I really enjoyed playing this game, and even though it can be a little time consuming and tedious at times, overall it was a great experience.
