CodeAssist is a free integrated development environment (IDE) designed to help Android app developers create their own applications with real programming (Java, Kotlin, XML). The app provides an easy-to-use platform, similar to Android Studio, that simplifies coding on small screens. The CodeAssist IDE features a smooth code editor, with zoom-in and zoom-out options, a shortcut bar, and undo-redo and indent options. The software also has an intelligent code completion feature that suggests what to write next without lagging your device, currently for Java only. The IDE highlights errors in real-time, allowing developers to know right away when there are issues in their code. CodeAssist also allows developers to preview layouts without compiling, manage multiple projects, and compile projects and build APK or AAB with a single click. Additionally, the software has an integrated library manager that makes it easy to manage all dependencies and automatically adds sub-imports. It also allows developers to obfuscate their applications, making it difficult to mod/crack. The source code is available on Github, and the app offers live build logs, app logs, and a debugger to ensure that there are no bugs.
