Turn-based hack-and-slash game

Aztez is a turn-based single-player game that revolves around a series of battle campaigns. Players will have to fight formidable opponents and master unique skill sets if they hope to progress to more challenging levels. It will then be possible to navigate to different locations on a map of the ancient Aztec empire.
The developers claim that Aztez is a combination of a classic beat-'em-up platform and a 4X strategy game. While perhaps not as complicated as other bundles, such as the Devil May Cry 5, the action and player mechanics are somewhat similar.
Constantly modified in-game campaigns
One unique characteristic of Aztez is that each campaign will be modified every time that it is accessed. In other words, players are always presented with different artifacts, events, and battles. This helps to prevent the repetitiveness that is sometimes associated with typical hack-and-slash games.
A host of cosmetic items and skills
It is possible to equip the character with more than 70 unique cosmetic items. Additionally, eight powerful weapons can be chosen. These are determined by the type of combat associated with each level. Note that it is possible to obtain as many as 40 steam achievements when playing.
The inclusion of the Aztec culture
As the name suggests, the in-game environment has been heavily influenced by Aztec history. This is reflected in the numerous stylized levels, as well as the presence of former Aztec cities located on the interactive map.
While the combat associated with Aztez can be compared to other bundles, such as Raji: An Ancient Epic, the use of a monochrome palette punctuated by blood provides an additional layer of brutality. The inclusion of other actions and tasks, such as performing rituals and summoning Aztec gods, contributes to the multifaceted nature of this game.
