2048 Desktop (sometimes referred to as Dark Dreams) is an enhanced version of the classic game called 2048. Here, instead of using only mouse movements, the player can use the keyboard and also certain game pad controls for more control over the action. The game comes with many different themes which provide a unique gaming experience.
As with any other game, it's always best to read some user reviews and perhaps pick up a few tips from them before actually beginning to play. In this case, as the name implies, the main focus of the game is on how to advance through the different stages, and so you can try to acquire all the achievements before you ultimately lose the game. This is why the current version that is installed on most PCs is known as the" 2048 Desktop" or the "Old Blob" download.
The biggest difference with the future version as compared to the old version is that now you are able to collect and mix up four types of tiles which are used in generating a continually increasing number of points, hence advancing through the nine tiles of the grid. This means that you will have to think very carefully about what kind of moves you make to collect all the tiles and to fill up your board with them. However, even without the help of a guide, the challenge can still be undertaken quite comfortably, as there is an easy to understand but challenging puzzle game in place. This makes the game in many ways a type of leader board puzzle, whereby the players who fail to match the required number of tiles with the ones they have collected will lose.
