Virtual Villagers 5 New Believers sees you return to the island of Isola, but this time your villagers have been trapped by a tribe of unbelieving heathens! To survive, you'll need to balance building and finding food with spreading faith. The gameplay is casual and involves training and motivating your villagers. The in-game tutorial is helpful in getting you started. The game allows you to pick up and drop villagers to interact with the environment, whether it's building structures or trying to convert the locals. The linear gameplay may limit freedom, but Virtual Villagers 5 is still a compelling game. However, the graphics are outdated, and the interface feels tired. Despite lacking major improvements or innovations, fans of the series will still enjoy this installment.
