VertVision is a free Android application that helps you calculate your vertical jump height. It is an easy and equipment-free way to measure your vertical jump height. It is especially useful for casuals or non-professionals who do not have access to costly equipment or an open space to measure their vertical jump height.
The app has a simple interface and is easy to use. All you need to do is record a video of yourself jumping using the native camera application and then pick the recorded video from the VertVision app. You can then adjust the playback speed with the slider and slowly move through the frames. Press "Set Takeoff" at the frame just before leaving the floor and "Set Landing" at the frame just before you land. The app then calculates your vertical jump height.
