SlideShare is a unique social networking site that allows you to upload and share pictures and videos on the web. According to its parent company i.e., SlideShare, it offers free unlimited access to more than 15 millions slideshows worldwide and has about 70 million registered users. Though this app isn't associated with LinkedIn, Microsoft's new name for its own social networking tool has made it similar. Even if SlideShare is not directly related to LinkedIn, it was created to have a social networking theme and so many of the features that it offers are like those of the latter, i.e., allowing groups and tagging, voting and uploading of your pictures or videos, as well as the ability to upload and share files between devices. This is similar to the functionality that the latter allows you to do on your desktop. In order to use SlideShare with your presentation, you will have to download and install the software on your PC or Mac computer first. Then you can connect your SlideShare account to your Google or Yahoo mail account (Gmail or Hotmail). You will have to select "use the URL:", where you type the website address of the SlideShare site where you want to upload your presentation. You will then have to go to the upload page, where you will have to click "upload now" in order to begin uploading your presentation slideshows.
SlideShare was launched in 2021 by SlideShare Inc., a provider of mobile apps and other related technology. Since then, the company has grown dramatically and today has over 15M members. SlideShare is an excellent choice if you want to share short videos or still-shots with your friends, colleagues, or loved ones. With SlideShare, you don't need to spend a fortune on special cameras or complex editing programs to create professional-quality presentations, and if your slideshows are of low quality, you won't lose customers.
