Physics-based driving game

Hill Climb Racing is a physics-based driving game where you control a driver across hilly terrains. Along the way, you will need to collect fuel and coins. The most important of the two is fuel because it will power your car while the game is ongoing. Coins can be used after each round to either upgrade your current vehicle or upgrade to a new one. Whichever car you choose, your controls are limited to a gas and brake pedal. The objective is to balance the two so you can go up or down the hill without crashing.
Gameplay
The main goal of Hill Climb Racing is to drive as many miles as you can on extremely steep and bumpy roads. Another obstacle you must overcome is to maintain your gas levels. Should you run out of gas while driving, the game will end. This means the points you accumulated will be void, and you will need to repeat the same level. The same is true when you flip your car and injure the driver.
A good technique for saving gas is to slide down steep hills. The momentum you gain from this technique enables your car to run faster without having to press down on the gas. With such high speeds, you should also be mindful when to press the brakes. Holding it down too soon slows you down, while clicking it too late brings you to a sudden stop. The latter can also send you and your car flying, and eventually crashing. After each successful round, you can use the points you collected to upgrade your car.
Parts that can be changed are engine, suspension, tires, and four-wheel-drive. You do not need to have an in-depth knowledge of cars to know the functions of these parts. A pop-up window will appear before you confirm your purchase which explains its benefit. For example, you upgrade the suspension. The window will let you know that it improves your car’s ability to absorb shock or sudden drops. This makes it more stable at high speeds and bumps.
System Requirements
Hill Climb Racing hosts over 27 levels and 28 vehicles. This is already on top of its vast catalog of upgrades for your car. To keep the program light, you will see that the graphics were designed to appear similar to cartoons or clip art. This 2D design helped the program stay below 1 GB. To play this game, you will need to have a computer running Windows 8 or Windows 10. Its developer, Fingersoft, recommends you install this on with Windows 10 version 10240.0 or higher.
Wacky yet extremely challenging driving game
Hill Climb Racing is a suitable game for gamers that want a game that is easy to follow but extremely challenging. The physics of this game exaggerates its reaction so it’s important to stay cautious when you’re pressing the gas and/or break. The overstated movements also make up for the use of flat graphics. Overall, you will find this game difficult yet highly rewarding.
