Picnic: Easy File Sharing for Mac
Screenshots
Picnic is a convenient solution for sharing files and folders between two Mac computers. With Picnic, you can easily sync your files using Bonjour and select specific folders to share. The program allows you to set a password for added security and provides tabs to monitor subscribers, conflicts, and queues.
To get started, make sure Picnic is set up on both computers and that your local area network is functioning properly. Once set up, you can add new folders or files by clicking the "+" button at the bottom left of the interface. These items will be listed on the left side of the interface.
Picnic neatly divides its interface into three tabs - subscribers, conflicts, and queues - to help you monitor the synchronization process. You can effortlessly subscribe or unsubscribe to other users using the button at the bottom of the interface. Additionally, Picnic allows you to add a password to protect your files.
One of the notable features of Picnic is its ability to sync all user accounts using Bonjour, which is particularly useful for Mac users. Although there may be occasional bugs with file synchronization, Picnic offers a simple and hassle-free way to transfer files on a local area network.
Please note that Picnic is a trial version software.
