This is a masterpiece which long has had racing game fans excited: Need for Speed Payback brings the adrenaline rush of street racing into gamers hands. Of course, the series has been a bit up and a lot down in the last dozen years, but this is a much better look at the franchise’s open world racing and action driven storylines than in the rest of its strange little history. Deluxe Edition offers the players much more, than just more. It provides great vehicles, exclusive vanity item and certain valuable bonuses for both casual racers and those who want to be on top of the leaderboards.
A story fueled by revenge
The story in Need for Speed Payback has a gang of drivers out to take down a cartel called 'The House', unto whose name has fallen one of the casinos, police, underworld racing scene and even the city itself. In the story mode, you’ll assist him in action packed heists, high speed pursuits and less than graceful stunts, all delivered in cinematic style. The missions of the game keep players on the edge with some change objectives to try that require both driving skills and strategic thinking.
Need for Speed Payback makes an emphasis on car customisation that has really been missing in previous entries. The Deluxe Edition also includes exclusive tuning parts and shipmet that help their rides stand out.
