Hi, Font is a fresh take on the ever popular Android icons. Its inspiration is the millions of little "hidographs" or fingerprints which can be found left behind by users of the Android operating system. We all have those and while they can't be changed, they sure make for interesting apps. John Papassa, developer of Hifont, has made an app that takes these icons and implements their stylized patterns into the interface of a Google Play application.

I've used many free software icons on my phones over the years, but none have made the enduring impression on me like Hifont has. Not only does it have hundreds of unique icons, but because they are styled in such a way as to not look like a stock android icon, it also adds a unique flavor to your device. You can download hundreds of different fonts, themed according to almost any theme you want, and use them on your phone without having to modify any codes in the system settings. Most of these fonts come with a free download as well.

If you're wondering why you need a developer to change fonts for your device, well this is because Google Play does not allow you to install any downloaded file from websites outside Google. This includes icons, wallpapers and many other things which are installed through third party applications on your device. These third party developers have allowed access to their code, so that you can install any icon you want if you can get your hands on it. You can then use Hifont to change fonts on your device.
