"Closing Doors" is a first-person atmospheric horror game developed by collarpill. Despite its short completion time of around four minutes, this indie title offers a suspenseful experience for players. The gameplay involves riding an elevator and stopping on different floors, with limited movement options restricted to interacting with the elevator or adjusting the camera.
The eerie corridors revealed by the closing doors intensify as the player ascends, creating a progressively darker and creepier atmosphere. While exploration beyond the elevator is not possible, this design choice aims to build suspense and tension, culminating in a jumpscare. Although lacking traditional exploration elements, the game's ominous atmosphere successfully instills fear in players.
