Chemické názvosloví is a free Android application developed by martiska.net, categorized under Education & Reference. The application does not contain ads and does not require any permissions or collect any data. It is designed to convert user-entered chemical formulas to their corresponding Czech word names and vice versa. The application allows users to enter elements and some simple inorganic compounds consisting of 2 to 4 elements. It can serve as a helpful tool for beginners studying the nomenclature of elements and inorganic compounds.
The application works in Czech and names the formulas of all elements. It also names some inorganic compounds composed of 2 to 4 elements, including oxides, hydroxides, carbides, sulphides, halides, hydrides, nitrides, oxyacids, oxyacid salts, and cyanides. However, it does not name organic compounds. The method of entering the chemical pattern is user-friendly, where the element formula has the first letter uppercase, the next lowercase, and the elements are entered one after the other without spaces. Numerical indices are also classified without spaces, and round brackets can be used in pairs.
