Assassin's Creed Origins PC Game Review

Assassin's Creed Origins is an upcoming action-adventure computer game developed by Ubisoft and published by Ubisoft. It's the tenth main installment of the Assassin's Creed series, following on from the Syndicate and the well received Rogue Warrior. The story centres on theuterian island of Absteria, which has been under the control of the French Revolution era government. You play as one of many different playable characters, each with their own storyline and special abilities. This time around, however, your main mission is to return to Egypt and help the fledgling republic escape from the French and colonial forces that occupy the island.
There are two modes in this new game: Story mode which features two campaigns (one side of the game blocks the years 16jo and 16ma, the other side focuses on the modern day campaign) and adventure mode. As in most open-world games, you'll find all manner of side quests and puzzles in both versions. My favourite side quest is one in which you're a part of a group of pirates trying to storm a prison ship carrying dangerous prisoners. In order to get past the defences, you need to climb up some rope ladders and also to shoot down the cannons that are keeping guard above the prisoners. The fighting here is quite tense, especially if you get shot by one of the guards who try to arrest you. Luckily, help comes in the form of a helicopter that drops down from the sky and engages your group in an all out battle.
In terms of the graphics, this game looks gorgeous, though I'm not sure if it's influenced by previous AC games or not. Regardless, it's still very much worth trying out if you have the opportunity to. If you haven't played this new version of the classic game, it really is worth checking out.
