Screenshots
DPI Helper is a free Android application developed by Pol Apps under the System Tuning & Utilities category. It is a simple tool that helps users and developers to check their device information and convert image sizes from one drawable level to another. The application consists of three main sections: DEVICE-INFO, CALCULATOR, and TEST.
The DEVICE-INFO section allows you to calculate density and density level using horizontal and vertical sizes in pixels and screen size in inches. It also displays a lot of information about your device, such as screen size, density, OS API, version, name, device model, manufacturer, and more. You can share all the device information via email, which is a useful feature for users who want to report a bug on their device or ask for support for an app.
The CALCULATOR section allows you to calculate image size in pixels for all drawable levels, starting from dimensions of a specified level. For example, you can convert a drawable-mdpi image size to the corresponding size for the same image in drawable-xxhdpi resource. The TEST section shows an image with different pre-set setting sizes in dip or pixels, allowing you to see how different images will be scaled on your device. Overall, DPI Helper is a useful tool for checking device information and converting image sizes for Android developers and users alike.
