WiFi WPS WPA Tester - access point vulnerability tester

If you want to know if your wireless access point is vulnerable to WPS protocol, WiFi WPS WPA Tester is a free app designed to check your access point for such a vulnerability. The app works by attempting to connect to an access point via WPS pin.
The app’s interface is clean and intuitive, and is functionally quite easy to use regardless of knowledge level. This is in contrast to similar apps like Aircrack-ng and Wireshark, which can be a little intimidating at first.
Simple to use, easy to understand
From the main screen of the app, you can clearly see all the networks within range, including visual numerical indicators for how strong the signal for each network is, as well as whether that network is secure. Colour-coded circles indicate the likelihood of the app being able to “crack” into a wireless network using the WPS WPA method.
The app allows for two methods of accessing a wireless network. The non-rooted version can connect to a network but will not allow you to see the WiFi password. Rooted mode will allow you to see the WiFi password and access certain advanced settings, but your device will need to be rooted in order for this feature to be usable.
Effective but limited
When WiFi WPS WPA Tester works, it is intuitive, easy to use, and fast-acting. Unfortunately, not all networks will be accessible by this app, which is why it markets itself as a “tester” rather than a hacking tool. In reality, it can be used as both, but in limited circumstances. It can also be useful for gaining access when you have forgotten the WiFi password.
From a usability standpoint, WiFi WPS WPA Tester’s clean interface and simple controls make it appealing, but there are a lot of ads on display, to the point where it could be considered intrusive. It is possible to remove the ads by upgrading to the pro version, which will also make the aforementioned rooted mode available for use.
