Newspaper-style RSS reader
Screenshots
Readefine is an RSS reader that restyles web articles to resemble classic newspaper column inches. It allows users to collect and browse their RSS feeds in one place. Users can manually add feeds or import them from Google Reader. Readefine is an Adobe Air application, which makes it cross-platform but also resource-heavy.
While the newspaper-style layout of Readefine provides a comfortable reading experience, the interface itself is poorly designed and not user-friendly. Users cannot open feed folders imported from Google Reader, and the Share button lacks functionality. Additionally, Readefine is slower compared to other RSS readers. The newspaper-style design, although visually appealing for articles, creates a cluttered interface.
Despite these drawbacks, if you enjoy reading newspaper-style columns, you may appreciate Readefine's unique approach.
Pros:
- Read feeds in newspaper style
- Import Google Reader feeds
- Configurable
Cons:
- Poor interface design
- No video support
