Enchanting 2D Platformer Game: Maguite

Maguite is a short 2D platformer developed by Argentinian animator Pablo Cuello. This first-person desktop game enables PC and Mac users to try their hand at locating a mage's source of power and returning her to her home after scouring the scenery for magic orbs.
Similar to Max and the Magic Marker and Terraria, the game follows the heroine on a quest to restore balance and stand against a ruthless overlord. However, in "Maguite: a Mage Against the Machines," the heroine's quest is over within minutes and without fighting the 'boss.'
In Maguite, machines run the city, WI-FI is lethal, and the only other living creatures are cats and pigeons. The mage must restore her power by collecting magic orbs and potions. Using her staff to swing at her foes, she must face robot minions and laser-wielding surveillance cameras, scale buildings, avoid fires and puddles, and jump on boxes.
With a gameplay of under 10 minutes and a sorcery-themed storyline, this single-level game is an amusing pastime. As the animator's initiation into game development, it comes with simple menus, lagging UI, and finicky platforms. At the end of the game, a QR code reveals the animator's words of gratitude and a reward in the form of free phone wallpapers.
Maguite is a single-level 2D platformer that takes a powerless mage on a return journey to her forest, away from the machines that run the world. Armed with nothing but her staff, she collects magic orbs and potions. Aside from the odd fall or puddle bite, there's nothing to deter any player from 'winning' this game.
