Functionality and Features
Once the app is opened, the scanner window appears instantly showing a red horizontal line and blue border. To scan, place the red line above the code. The camera will focus to scan the code automatically. The scanned code is then copied to clipboard where it can be pasted into any text field.
QR & Barcode Scanner has simple and amazing functionality. Once the code is read, the screen will change to display a photograph of the code and the code content. Under that, there will be buttons for a web search, Amazon, book search, and share. QR codes and Barcodes are found in almost every item or product around you. The app makes it easy and convenient for you to read accurate item details and descriptions. The details include website address, supplier details, item specifications, and GPS coordinates.
Books barcodes are recognised as ISBN numbers, which allows users to search in Google Books, and Amazon instantly. Also, the app allows users to check food ingredients and calories by scanning food barcodes.
