SoftPerfect RAM Disk is a high-performance RAM disk app that allows you to have a disk on your computer that is entirely stored in its memory. Because the memory is much faster than physical hard disks, storing temporary data on a rapid memory disk attains a higher performance. Most modern computers are equipped with at least 1GB or 2GB of RAM. The unused parts of the RAM could be used as a high-performance alternative to the much slower HDD storage. SoftPerfect RAM Disk allows you create up to 26 virtual RAM disks limited only by the memory available on your system.
