Spybot Search and Destroy
Spybot - Search & Destroy détecte et supprime les logiciels espions, un type de menace relativement nouveau qui n'est pas encore couvert par les applications anti-virus courantes. Les logiciels espions suivent silencieusement votre comportement de navigation afin de créer un profil marketing pour vous qui est transmis à votre insu aux compilateurs et vendu à des sociétés de publicité. Everything
Tout est un utilitaire de recherche qui localise les fichiers et les dossiers par nom de fichier instantanément sur le système d'exploitation Windows. Mais, contrairement à la fonction de recherche de Windows, Tout affichera initialement tous les fichiers et dossiers de votre ordinateur. Tout peut rapidement localiser n'importe quels fichiers et dossiers par leur nom sur un volume NTFS. Il suffit de taper un filtre de recherche pour limiter les fichiers et les dossiers affichés et voilà ! votre recherche ramène tout dans ces paramètres. Après l'installation et le premier lancement de l'application, Everything crée un index des noms de chaque fichier et dossier du volume à partir des métadonnées des fichiers de la table des fichiers maîtres NTFS. Comme tous les volumes NTFS montés sont indexés, il est continuellement mis à jour par l'application du journal des changements NTFS. Tout recherche ensuite dans cet index les noms de fichiers correspondant à vos termes et paramètres de recherche. Le seul inconvénient de l'utilisation de Everything est que, parce qu'il repose sur le journal des modifications, Everything ne peut rechercher que dans les volumes NTFS, donc il ne peut pas être utilisé pour localiser des fichiers sur une clé USB, par exemple. Dans l'ensemble, Everything est un petit utilitaire intelligent qui n'utilise pratiquement pas de mémoire, ni même de temps processeur, pour fonctionner efficacement. L'interface est basée sur une fenêtre d'explorateur standard, et les utilisateurs de tous niveaux d'expertise pourront s'en emparer très facilement.
