The Google Backup and Sync tool replaces the Google Drive and Google Photos desktop uploader. Google Backup and Sync does not replace the apps, rather the change is the way users can upload their data on to the cloud and use it offline. Google's Backup and Sync is a place where you can create, share, collaborate, and keep all of your stuff. Whether you’re working with a friend on a joint research project, planning a wedding with your fiancé or tracking a budget with roommates, you can do it with Google Backup and Sync. You can upload and access all of your files, including videos, photos, Google Docs, PDFs and beyond. Key Features include: Create and collaborate. Google Docs is built right into Google Drive, so you can work with others in real time on documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Store everything safely and access it anywhere (especially while on the go). You can access your stuff from anywhere—on the web, in your home, at the office, while running errands and from all of your devices. Search everything. Search by keyword and filter by file type, owner and more. The software can even recognize text in scanned documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology or images using image recognition. You 'may' need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package to run this software.

Whether that be a cell phone, a tablet, a laptop, a Netbook, or a wireless printer. Key Features include: Supports Windows 8. No installation required. Lightweight. To get started with VirtualRouter Plus, simply click on the app to run it and choose a name and password for the network that you are going to create. Next up, click on Start VirtualRouter Plus and voila! you now have a Wi-Fi access point. Virtual Router Plus is a small, open source app for computers that run Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012. If your router is not Wi-Fi enabled, then VirtualRouter Plus maybe the way forward, especially if you run Windows 8. The app is very easy to use and required no installation. The only issue we found was with stability.
Crescendo Free Music Notation Editor
Crescendo Free Music Notation Editor is a music composition app that assists you in creating original songs, music, scores and soundtracks. You can also try it coupled with TwelveKeys music transcription software to transcribe music recordings and notate arrangements of your favorite music. Key Features include: Change the key signature and time signature. Add whole, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes and rests (semibreve to semiquaver). Create sheet music in Treble, Bass, Tenor or Alto Clefs. Assign sharp, flat and natural accidentals to notes. Add ties and slurs across notes. Create dotted notes, chords, add repeats, and more. Keyboard shortcuts toggle between notes and rests. Insert text to specify a title, tempo, dynamics or lyrics. Drag notes to change their pitch or placement. Copy, cut and paste measures to easily insert themes. Zoom in and out for easier editing. Brace staves together to compose scores for ensembles. Preview and Share Your Score. Listen to your composition with MIDI playback, or export MIDI music files. Print completed music projects for your musicians. Print blank music sheets for hand transcription. The app has a simple and intuitive interface that lets you write musical notation, write, save and print your music compositions on your PC. The wide array of sheet music symbols, time and key signatures, along with a free-form layout, gives you, as the composer, optimum control over creating sheet music for your musical arrangements. iSpring Free Cam
iSpring Free Cam is a great media recording solution that allows you to record any part of your screen, edit recorded video, and upload it directly to YouTube or save as WMV. iSpring Free Cam can solve a number of screen sharing issues. For instance, with it you can troubleshoot a computer issue or show someone that you are solving a technical problem. You can also help others learn how a specific app is used, providing a video tutorial rather than a written explanation. iSpring Free Cam lets you create high quality video recordings, providing you with all the tools you need to capture screen actions and edit the output in order to prepare it for online sharing. Advanced options include: Customizable recording area. Advanced audio settings (microphone and system sounds recording). Mouse indication (highlight and sounds). -audio & video recording (trimming, noise removal, and others) Direct one-click upload to YouTube. Save recordings as high-quality videos in WMV. Hot key support for simple navigation. Overall, iSpring Free Cam lets you record desktop videos, perform audio adjustments and save your clips locally or share them via YouTube, all via a modern, intuitive interface. The only downside we can see is there is no webcam support. This would have added to the already adept recording capabilities.

Connectify Hotspot
Connectify Hotspot is a relatively lightweight app that allows you to transform your PC into a WiFi Hotspot and share Internet with all your devices . Connectify Hotspot has a really easy to understand and intuitive user interface that makes it simple to manage your connections on your network. Once installed, the configuration process can be done very quickly. Connectify will prompt you to choose the hotspot name, the password, the WiFi device that you want to use, the security mode, and if you want to enable Internet sharing. Connectify Hotspot allows you to explore all the devices that are connected to your network, so you have full control over your wireless network. The app has some really neat features such as the ability to explore shared resources from the devices that are paired with your system. Overall, Connectify Hotspot performs well and has a solid list of features. The app is easy on the eyes and the user interface is simple to get to grips with, even novice users will be able to set-up and use this app with ease. The Pro and Max versions of the app provide more than the basic functions, such as WiFi repeater mode, bridging mode and the ability to share 3G, 4G, and tethered connections.
PDF Combine
PDF Combine is a powerful application that can turn multiple PDF files into one single document that you may organize and share as you need to. There are multiple ways to complete the combination process, depending upon the configuration of the files you start with and the end product you need. There are various ways to combine your PDF document. e.g. you can add each file you want in the finished version individually, or you can put them all in one folder and let PDF combine do the work for you. You can even combine them by common name part, via command line, and from the desktop if you so wish. Key features include: Intuitive interface. Highly configurable. Combine by folder or file name. Encrypt PDF Documents. Command line option. PDF Combine has a crisp looking interface that is easy to navigate; all of the options are clearly marked, and most features are where you need them to be located. The downside to PDF Combine is the fact that it does take some time to learn about all of the options available and how to use them best. Unfortunately, the Help document isn't very clear. If, however, you have some experience with similar applications then the learning curve should not be as steep as those without.

It gives you all the tools you need to create detailed diagrams. It integrates well with office apps and has some powerful functions. The interface is intuitive and easy to get to grips with.
