gnuplot

Gnuplot is a portable command-line driven graphing utility for Windows, Linux, OS/2, OSX, VMS, and many other platforms. Gnuplot is able to generate both 2D and 3D plots; delivering the results in animated views. You can also save the graphs to a variety of image formats, including PNG, SVG, JPEG and EPS. Supported outputs include: Interactive screen display: cross-platform (Qt, wxWidgets, x11) or system-specific (MS Windows, OS/2). Direct output to file: postscript (including eps), pdf, png, gif, jpeg, LaTeX, metafont, emf, svg.. Web display formats: HTML5, svg. Gnuplot was originally created to allow scientists and students to visualize mathematical functions and data interactively, but it has grown to support many non-interactive uses such as web scripting. It is also used as a plotting engine by third-party applications such as Octave.

Lines Code Editor

Lines Code Editor was created to be a free, fast and simple source code editor for Microsoft Windows. Seen by its creators at CreatixBih as a great Notepad replacement editor, the software boasts many features and is pretty easy to use. Users will notice a quick and effective start-up and workflow, even on older machines. It also has an integrated web browser with auto-refresh on save and a host of easy to navigate document tabs. Key features include: Checks PHP syntax errors on save. Custom text snippets and document templates. Split code editor up to four views. User commands, external scripts, output console. Full capable project explorer integration. Syntax highlighting for many common languages. Code folding for CSS, PHP and JavaScript files. The software also supports Unicode, UTF-8, ANSI, ASCII encodings, and boasts an encoding converter. It contains a work-space and project-based file browser which facilitates code export and printing support. There is also a colour picker with the current CSS file colours. In terms of line operations you can toggle comment, duplicate, remove empty and trim ends. You are also able to convert encoding and text by opening the folder as a project from explorer’s right click menu. You will then have right click editing of any file in explorer and be able to export the project as a zip file. Lines Code Editor has many more abilities, but overall it is quickly gaining a great reputation as a Notepad replacement editor. It is also remarkably user friendly, which makes all the difference. It is available for download, as long as the following requirements are met: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 – Download and Windows: XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10

Code::Blocks

Code::Blocks for Mac is a free C, C++ and Fortran IDE that has a custom build system and optional Make support. The application has been designed to be very extensible and fully configurable. Code::Blocks is an IDE packed full of all the features you will need. It has a consistent look, feel and operation across its supported platforms. It has been built around a plugin framework, therefore Code::Blocks can be extended with plugins. Support for any kind of functionality can be added by installing/coding a plugin. Key features include: Written in C++. No interpreted languages or proprietary libs needed.. Full plugin support. Multiple compiler support: GCC (MingW / GNU GCC), MSVC++, clang, Digital Mars, Borland C++ 5.5, and Open Watcom etc. Support for parallel builds. Imports Dev-C++ projects. Debugger with full breakpoints support. Cross-platform. Code::Blocks' interface is both customizable and extensible with Syntax highlighting, a tabbed interface, Class Browser, a to-do list manager with different users, and many more features that are provided through plugins. GoodSync for Windows

GoodSync for Windows is an easy, secure, and reliable way to automatically synchronize and back up your photos, MP3s, and important files. Backing-up and/or synchronizing your critical documents is an easy affair, with tasks that can be scheduled using a variety of Google Drive, Amazon S3, and SkyDrive supportautomatic options. GoodSync for Windows offers true bi-directional file synchronization that prevents any data loss. The app can be used to synchronize data between your desktop PC and laptop, home and office computers, computer and removable devices (USB Key, Flash Drive, CDRW disc). This can be done over a local network or via the Internet. Key Features include: Powerful syncing capabilities. Compare and analyze changes to files. Can backup multiple versions of files. Google Drive, Amazon S3, and SkyDrive support. Overall, GoodSync for Windows is a powerful file synchronization app. It offers cross platform availability and currently available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The app lets you backup and sync files to any number of locations, including online storage, other computers, and even mobile devices. The only downside we can see, is that it has no compression or encryption options.

PDF Combine

PDF Combine is a powerful application that can turn multiple PDF files into one single document that you may organize and share as you need to. There are multiple ways to complete the combination process, depending upon the configuration of the files you start with and the end product you need. There are various ways to combine your PDF document. e.g. you can add each file you want in the finished version individually, or you can put them all in one folder and let PDF combine do the work for you. You can even combine them by common name part, via command line, and from the desktop if you so wish. Key features include: Intuitive interface. Highly configurable. Combine by folder or file name. Encrypt PDF Documents. Command line option. PDF Combine has a crisp looking interface that is easy to navigate; all of the options are clearly marked, and most features are where you need them to be located. The downside to PDF Combine is the fact that it does take some time to learn about all of the options available and how to use them best. Unfortunately, the Help document isn't very clear. If, however, you have some experience with similar applications then the learning curve should not be as steep as those without.

PDF Split and Merge

PDF Split and Merge Basic is an easy-to-use tool with both graphical and command line interfaces that enable you to split, merge, mix, and rotate documents in the .PDF format. Key features include: Merge PDF documents together. Split PDF documents specifying the page number. Rotate PDF documents. Split PDF documents specifying the level of bookmarks. Mix two PDF documents taking pages alternately. Visually compose your PDF dragging pages from other PDF. PDF Split and Merge allows you to split up and merge any PDF document in only a few step. The downside is the user interface is not that friendly and it can take a while to get to grips with. PDF Split and Merge has multi-language support for French, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Finnish, Italian, Greek, English, Slovak, Chinese (Traditional), Estonian, Swedish, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, Bosnian, German, Spanish, Russian, and Hungarian.
