Dev-C++ is a feature rich IDE, which comes complete with compiler for creating software in C++. It is a fork of the original Bloodshed Dev-C++ environment. Key Features include: TDM-GCC 4.9.2 32/64bit. Syntax highlighting. Code completion. Code insight. Editable shortcuts. GPROF profiling. GDB debugging. AStyle code formatting. Devpak IDE extensions. External tools. Included in the Dev-C++ environment are all of the standard features that are necessary for writing, compiling, debugging, and executing programs written in C. Dev-C++ has been designed for the hard-core C++ programmer as it allows you to compose all of your source code without the simple features, which are common with most programming environments for beginners. Dev-C++ supports the following languages: Croatian, Romanian, Korean, French, Ukrainian, Dutch, Polish, Slovene, Latvian, Czech, Italian, Catalan, Greek, English, Portuguese, Slovak, Chinese (Traditional), Estonian, Galician, Bulgarian, Swedish, Turkish, Norwegian, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, German, Spanish, Russian, and Hungarian. Overall, Dev-C++ is great IDE to work with, if you don't need any advanced tools. It has all the basic things that you need. However, although it is an updated take on an older IDE, it still looks slightly dated.

Bandizip

Bandizip is an all-in-one Zip Archiver. It can handle most popular compression formats, including Zip, 7z, and Rar. It is both lightweight and lightning fast, utilizing a rapid Zip algorithm for compression & extraction with fast drag and drop functions, high speed archiving, and multi-core compression. Key features include: Support for Unicode to display international characters. Bypass files that don't compress well using the "High Speed Archiving" function. Optional archive encryption using ZipCrypto and AES 256. Context Menu access including the preview archive function. Create or extract multiple zip files simultaneously from windows explorer. Bandizip supports ZipCrypto and AES 256 encryption algorithms for higher security. It also has support for split compression to certain sizes, such as 10MB or 700MB. Besides Windows standard split compression formats such as zip, z01, and z02, it securely supports ALZ, EGG (alz, a01, a02, and vol1.egg, vol2.egg, 7Z(7z.001, 7z.002, and RAR (part1.rar). Bandizip is lightweight, has numerous support features and utilizes super quick Zip algorithms for compression and expansion. If you want to change your current Zip utility then Bandizip is a great tool to try.

Tera Term

Tera Term is an open source, free, software implemented, terminal emulator application. It can emulate different types of computer terminals, from DEC VT100 to DEC VT382, and it supports telnet, SSH 1 & 2 and serial port connections. It also has a built-in macro scripting language and some other useful plugins. Key features include: Automatically creates logs with unique log names. Supports SSH, standard telnet and serial ports. Supports dec/digital/vt terminal standards. Tera Term is a useful application, which allows the connection to any remote Telnet or SSH hosts. It sports a clean and crisp layout that is easy to work with. The application does not take a long time to wrap your head around and is also very light on system resources. So, if you need a free terminal emulator, which is easy to master and supports remote Telnet or SSH host connections then Tera Term is a good choice.

CrystalDiskInfo

CrystalDiskInfo is a utility tool that can tell you about the hardware performance of your hard disk, including how likely it is to stop operating in the near future. The app gives you a complete readout of all your computer's SMART information, as well as a current temperature and health status. The interface can be easily navigated by anyone with an OK understanding of hard drives and the Windows OS. From the dashboard you can quickly see a long list of up-to-date system data. CrystalDiskInfo doesn’t have a lot of options here, or settings or deep drill down menus for that matter. It does, however, give you a clear and straightforward interface that shows all of the data it can retrieve* from each drive on your system. CrystalDiskInfo can be configured to send you Alerts in the event that there is an issue with one of the drives being monitored. These alerts can be audible or via email, and you can also configure the frequency of application refresh data. Overall, CrystalDiskInfo is a good, free tool if you have a reasonable level of computer knowledge and want to be kept informed about your system. It is lightweight, and uses hardly any system resources at all. The interface is crisp and clutter free, but the downside is, there is no Help feature with the app, and it does’t provide an explanation for any of the data that is displayed. If you are a novice user, it may be a good idea to try another app. *Various drives implement S.M.A.R.T. in different ways and not every drive tracks or reports every possible value.

Photo Booth for Windows 7

Photo Booth for Windows 7 is a copy of the Photo Booth application that comes bundled with Mac OS X. This photo taking application allows taking pictures and applying effects like Thermal Camera, Mirror, X Ray, Light Tunnel, Kaleidoscope, Squeeze, Twirl, and Stretch. Photo Booth For Windows 7 is a portable application developed to provide Windows 7 users with a similar experience to Mac’s Photo Booth in that you can quickly take snaps and add effects to them. This application also provides additional effects and some very basic sharing options to upload pictures to social media. As this is a 3rd party developed application and has no affiliation with either Apple or Microsoft, unfortunately the standard is quite low . On the up side there are a few additional effects such as additional mirrors that are not available in the Apple Photo Booth application. Key features include: More than 12 special effects for your webcam. No installation required. Works with all webcams. Lets you share photos on Facebook and Twitter. Once good thing about Photo Booth for Windows 7 is that it doesn’t require installation and is simple to set up. The only requirements are Adobe Flash Player and a webcam. Although Photo Booth for Windows 7 lacks some features found in the original Apple program, it is still not too bad for a free application.

These animations typically do not take up large amounts of disk space and the contents of Flash animations can also be compressed to reduce their file sizes further. Adobe Flash Player is available across all major operating systems, tablets, smart phones and browsers, and it can deliver high quality digital content via a powerhouse package.

Overall, WPS Office 2016 Free is a good alternative to Microsoft's offering. The Writer program is a versatile word processor; the Presentation program is an easy to use and effective slide show maker that helps you to create impressive multimedia presentations; and the Spreadsheets program is both a flexible and a powerful spreadsheet application.
