D-Fend Reloaded
D-Fend Reloaded is a graphical environment for DOSBox. D-Fend Reloaded is a successor of D-Fend (now discontinued). Both environments look similar and D-Fend Reloaded contains all features of D-Fend. You can even use the D-Fend config files. DOSBox emulates a complete computer, including the DOS command line, and allows you to run nearly all old DOS based games on modern hardware with any of the newer Windows versions.With DOSBox there was no need to worry about memory managers or free conventional RAM, but the setup of DOSBox was still a bit complicated. The configuration of DOSBox via text based setup files might be difficult for novice users. This is where D-Fend Reloaded come into play. With it you can create these files. In addition the D-Fend Reloaded installation package contains the DOSBox app (including all language files currently available), so there is only one installation to be run and no need to link D-Fend Reloaded with DOSBox manually. Features: Easy start: The D-Fend Reloaded installer provides everything you need to run old DOS games (D-Fend Reloaded GUI, DOSBox, language files, FreeDos commandline tools). During the first start of D-Fend Reloaded everything is set up automatically. Searching and sorting games: D-Fend Reloaded contains many service tools to keep the overview even in large game archives. Games can be filtered by categories like genre and year of publication, you can also conduct find-as-you-type searches. For every game you can setup a data folder for manuals etc. Creating new profiles: Besides using the normal profile editor, new profiles may be added by the profile wizard. Managing profiles: D-Fend Reloaded collects all information regarding a certain program in its profile (program directory, screenshot directory, manual directory, icon file etc.). D-Fend Reloaded is also able to build installer packs to transfer games to other computers. (To use this feature you need NSIS.) Additionally complete games can be packed to zip and 7z files by the builtin zip support for archiving or transferring. Language support: DOSBox and D-Fend Reloaded are multilingual. The installer package contains all currently available language files. D-Fend Reloaded automatically sets up the DOSBox keyboard layout which refers to the language chosen for D-Fend Reloaded. Compatibility: D-Fend Reloaded can read D-Fend and DBFrondend config files. D-Fend Reloaded is runs without Admin rights in Windows Vista. Dev-C++ is a feature rich IDE, which comes complete with compiler for creating software in C++. It is a fork of the original Bloodshed Dev-C++ environment. External tools. Included in the Dev-C++ environment are all of the standard features that are necessary for writing, compiling, debugging, and executing programs written in C. Dev-C++ has been designed for the hard-core C++ programmer as it allows you to compose all of your source code without the simple features, which are common with most programming environments for beginners. Dev-C++ supports the following languages: Croatian, Romanian, Korean, French, Ukrainian, Dutch, Polish, Slovene, Latvian, Czech, Italian, Catalan, Greek, English, Portuguese, Slovak, Chinese (Traditional), Estonian, Galician, Bulgarian, Swedish, Turkish, Norwegian, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, German, Spanish, Russian, and Hungarian. Overall, Dev-C++ is great IDE to work with, if you don't need any advanced tools. It has all the basic things that you need. However, although it is an updated take on an older IDE, it still looks slightly dated.
foobar2000
Foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform. It is a convenient and flexible media player that can be customized to suit your specific needs and preferences. Foobar2000 does need a fair amount of time to tweak and setup, but once you are done you can use it in just about any way you need to manage your media library. Key Features include: Supported audio formats: MP3, MP4, AAC, CD Audio, WMA, Vorbis, FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, Musepack, Speex, AU, and SND. Gapless playback. Full unicode support. Easily customizable user interface layout. Advanced tagging capabilities. Support for ripping Audio CDs as well as transcoding all supported audio formats using the Converter component. Full ReplayGain support. Customizable keyboard shortcuts. Open component architecture. When you first install and setup the interface appears a tad bleak, but in reality it hides some powerful features and a vast array of customizable options. You can choose the Quick Setup option, or you can go make individual selections regarding the type of information you would like to see displayed. If you need, there are skins available to download as well. Foobar2000 is a great audio tool to have in your collection of apps. It is lightweight, has a small operating footprint and has some nice features. It has full unicode support, ReplayGain support and native support for several popular audio formats. On the downside, it isn’t that easy to navigate if you are a novice. However, there is some help documentation available to assist those less experienced users.

Bandizip supports ZipCrypto and AES 256 encryption algorithms for higher security. It also has support for split compression to certain sizes, such as 10MB or 700MB. Besides Windows standard split compression formats such as zip, z01, and z02, it securely supports ALZ, EGG (alz, a01, a02, and vol1.egg, vol2.egg, 7Z(7z.001, 7z.002, and RAR (part1.rar). Bandizip is lightweight, has numerous support features and utilizes super quick Zip algorithms for compression and expansion. If you want to change your current Zip utility then Bandizip is a great tool to try.
WPS Office for Windows
WPS Office 2016 Free is the most versatile free office suite, which includes free word processor, spreadsheet program and presentation maker. With these three programs you will easily be able to deal with any office related tasks. WPS Office 2016 Free has multiple language support for English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese,Russian and Polish languages. To switch between languages requires only a single click! Despite being a free suite, WPS Office comes with many innovative features, such as the paragraph adjustment tool and multiple tabbed feature. It also has a PDF converter, spell check and word count feature. WPS Office 2016 Personal Edition supports switching language UI,File Roaming and Docer online templates. Key features include: Writer Efficient word processor. Presentation Multimedia presentations creator. Spreadsheets Powerful tool for data processing and analysis. 100% compatible with MS Office document file types (.docx, .pptx, .xlsx, etc.). Thousands of free document templates. Built-in PDF reader. Mobile device support (iOS and Android). WPS Cloud Storage included. Although it is a free suite, WPS Office 2016 Free comes with many innovative features, including a useful a paragraph adjustment tool int he Writer program. It has an Office to PDF converter, automatic spell checking and word count features. It also has some neat tools such as the Watermark in document, and converting PowerPoint to Word document support. Overall, WPS Office 2016 Free is a good alternative to Microsoft's offering. The Writer program is a versatile word processor; the Presentation program is an easy to use and effective slide show maker that helps you to create impressive multimedia presentations; and the Spreadsheets program is both a flexible and a powerful spreadsheet application.
