With the new generation and young people looking for more ways to add their personalities to the social media world, it is no surprise that Qin Dou would introduce a brand new way to do so - Poll Friends. Poll Friends uses your photo upload to tell your friends what you are up to. This is a Facebook application that is exclusive to the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices.
You can view the photos posted by your friends all around the world, and even interact with them directly through Poll Friends. The new Poll Friends feature has the capacity to connect you with new friends from all over the globe, by connecting you with your friends who have their profiles open on the new interface. You will get new notifications on the status bar on your Android device informing you that your friends have added you on Facebook. You can also see if your friends have updated their profile by clicking on the plus icon in the top navigation. Your friends who have not yet added you on Facebook can be tracked down using the search facility in the Poll Friends section, as well as sending you direct messages if you have set up a chat with anyone.
The Poll Friends application allows you to search for your friends and arrange them in different categories, like by popularity or location. The interface is clean and simple and the interface actually looks better on the larger size Android screen as it makes the images a bit clearer. If you use the Poll Friends application, the only contact that you will be able to create from it is your own list of Facebook friends. Other than that, your other Facebook contacts will appear as a list in the drop-down menu. To see which of your Facebook friends are listed as friends request, you will need to click on the plus sign icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Poll Friends is free on the Android Market, and it is an impressive app that will enable you to really connect with your friends on Facebook!
