The PangoBright Screen Brightness app is a highly specific Windows utility. With the app, you can dim or brighten screens in a single click. PangoBright is the first Windows tool that allows you with two or more monitors to dim each screen individually.

Multi-screen dimming

PangoBright isn't the only screen dimmer app out there, by any means. There are dozens of similar utilities in the market, like Desktop Dimmer. What is unique about this programme is its ability to control the brightness of multiple monitors separately. In any multi-screen setup, using Windows brightness controls will dim or brighten all monitors.

This is particularly important for certain usage cases. When handling multiple screens in a dark environment, a bright screen can be very distracting. From business presentations to planetariums and nightclubs, it can be quite a common problem.

Lightweight & minimalist UI

Using PangoBright couldn't be simpler. It's a 115 KB executable file, requiring no installation. You can download it directly from the official website. When you run the file after download, no visible UI will pop up.

Instead, the app will take up residence in your Windows system tray (the space next to the clock). You may need to show hidden icons (by clicking the arrow) to see it. Clicking the app icon lets you select custom brightness levels for all your screens.

Completely free

The software is provided by Pangolin Laser Systems with a free license. There's no premium version available. The app is not supported by ads of any kind. It's a wholly unobtrusive experience.
