There are 12 pictures for children to choose to color in, and there is a simple and child friendly color palette for them to use. The learning curve for children is almost non existent, and they will be coloring away within a few minutes.

The pictures come with varying degrees of difficulty so children can set themselves a real challenge once they’ve mastered the basics.
One of the best features is that finished pictures can easily be printed or saved for hanging on the fridge or sending to relatives. The autosave feature is a real bonus, for when the kids inevitably reset the computer by accident or close the program down by mistake.
The default pictures are all of cute and cuddly animals and have been pitched with a n appropriate age range in mind.
Adults can set access levels so the kids can select their coloring animal of choice, but lock them out of the more advanced settings, like hiding the x icon making it harder for them to close the software down, and a there is a similar option for printing as well.
The Enchanted Crayon can be used on any Windows based environment from PC, tablet, and notebook. Primarily designed to be used with a mouse, there’s also options to use an Xbox controller, if you have one.
Sound is also required, as it’s an integral part of the software, but does contribute to the overall experience.
