Zuma's Revenge! is a multi-featured tile-matching game released and developed by PopCap Games. It was initially released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X in September 2021 as an expansion to the previous 2021 game, Zuma, and has subsequently been ported to Windows Phone as well. The game was inspired by the popular series of children's educational books about Zuma the Lion, which featured a lion that would attack his enemies. In this game Zuma must find enough fruit to get back to the jungle where he originally came from.
The game comes with two versions for the Windows version and a third for the mobile version. The price ranges between twenty-five to fifty dollars on each platform and can be purchased directly from the PopCap Games website for either platform. The game runs on a tile based engine which features many different levels and Zuma's nemeses, including the classic jungle theme from the earlier Zuma games. A Facebook application was released around the same time as the Windows version, which allows users to share tips and tricks for beating their high scores.
The game contains an almost infinite number of levels, all generated from a new random number generator. The free version only has twelve levels but the" Deluxe" and" Premier" versions offer sixteen and twenty-four levels respectively, allowing players more chances to complete them. The game is widely considered one of the best arcade styled games available for the Microsoft Windows operating system, having many critics and players calling it one of the best arcade styled games available for the PC. The game was also received well by those who enjoyed the puzzle and physics style of gaming. Overall the game is very enjoyable and provides a good amount of entertainment for those who like action packed, challenging and fun video games.
