Litmos LMS is a cloud based learning platform that has been designed for everyone. It provides a simple, straightforward way for administrators to create online courses for students of all skill levels, in order to increase their knowledge and understanding of an almost infinite number of topics.

Litmos LMS can be setup in-house without any assistance from a developer or IT department, as it is a hosted training system. With Litmos LMS, teachers and trainers are able to construct courses, assign them to learners, and track the results via an intuitive user interface. It has a customizable, white label solutions for organizations, which are interested in custom branding, templates, and reporting.

Litmos LMS is a great solution for training administrators to build, manage, and deploy professional looking online courses. These courses can be crafted to include a variety of multimedia files, including audio and video media, and Flash media content. PowerPoint presentations and content created in any SCORM-compliant authoring tool may also be included. Litmos LMS also has a built-in Assessment and Survey editor, which measures knowledge and provides administrators with feedback on their courses.

Course BuilderA great feature of Litmos LMS is the ability for training administrators to build their own online courses using the Litmos LMS course builder. Litmos LMS’s course builder is designed with three main category types: Upload, Create, and Browse. It comes with embedded content creation tools, which supports a variety of multiple formats.

The Course Builder is fairly straightforward; in the Upload section you can upload your own content, including SCORM, and audio and video files that you plan to include in your course. In the Create section, you’ll can generate Litmos LMS formatted content, including ILT, assessments, and surveys. In the Browser section you can locate and copy content from your account into new courses.

Course LibraryCourse Library’s are a great way to give learners a way to browse, search, and self-enrol in online courses. Learners who click on the course library are able to see all the course, which they have access to, including courses they have already completed. From here, learners are also be able to sign-up to additional online courses that they are interested in.

Training administrators have the option to add new courses to your businesses’ course library at any time. To add any course to the course library, simply click on the ‘Settings’ tab in the ‘Courses’ area of your account. Common examples of courses that are added to company libraries include product demos, optional professional development courses, and advanced data on topics, which are covered in mandatory online courses.

Reports and DashboardsReporting tools are a superb method that gives training administrators the ability to review the performance of their learners and gain a deeper insight into how training programs are having an impact on employee development. Litmos LMS also gives users the ability to create custom reports, in additional to traditional reports, which can be delivered via email.

Real-time data and trainee progress can be accessed via the Reports tab. The reporting data can be exported in .PDF or .CSV format.

IntegrationsLitmos LMS supports integrations with a number of different apps and services, including Box, Dropbox, Okta Identity Management, Shopify, Salesforce App Cloud, and TribeHR.

PricingLitmos LMS uses a subscription pricing model with prices starting from $299 per month for 100 users. For 500 users the cost would be $699 per month. Litmos LMS also has volume pricing and discounts available for non-profit organizations as well. A free trial is also available for new users, with no credit card required.
